            As an Eye health care professional I see many patients at my practice.  While examining a patient and reviewing the results with her, she commented “That’s what you all say” Curious I asked who all of us were and what do we say?  She said that she had recently seen another physician and his diagnosis was that her vision was fine as well.  She said that when she is working at her computer, she has to struggle and strain with her eyes.  I told her I can’t test her at her computer.  She asked me “Why not?”

            I received a call from home from my somewhat frantic wife one day at work.  She had just gotten off the phone with the school Nurse and there was a problem with his vision screening at school.  Having been here before, immediately I asked “So did they find out that he is Color Blind again this year?”  Surprisingly her answer was “no, they said he was not Color Blind, but had Extreme Farsightedness.  Not knowing what that was, I turned to Google, now I was frantic as well.    I called my long time friend Dr. Carver wigging out and explaining my son’s plight.  He assured me it was a mistake and pacified me by seeing son ASAP.  Turns out it was a mistake and my son is still only Color Blind (he always will be).  , I asked if there was a better way, he said there wasn’t.
